Laura Mendoza is a relationship-driven professional with 10 years of experience in financial services, recognized for her ability to build meaningful connections, cultivate trusted relationships, and bring people, ideas, and opportunities together.
Laura began her career in financial services in 2016 as an Office Manager and Back Office Coordinator, working closely alongside advisors and learning the business from the inside out. Those early years gave her a strong foundation in financial planning, strategy, solutions, underwriting, operations, and the importance of creating a thoughtful and meaningful client experience.
As her career evolved, so did her role. She transitioned into talent acquisition and went on to serve as Director of Recruiting, where she developed a deep understanding of talent strategy, leadership, relationship development, and the importance of creating alignment between people, organizations, and long-term vision.
Today, Laura is building on that experience through business development and strategic relationship building. She is passionate about creating an ecosystem of trusted professionals and connecting people across complementary areas of expertise. Her approach is rooted in curiosity, authenticity, and a genuine desire to create relationships that are mutually valuable and built to last.
For Laura, meaningful work goes beyond a title or transaction. She is driven by impact, legacy, and family, and believes the right connection at the right time can create opportunities that extend far beyond the initial conversation.
Originally from a small town in Northern California, Laura has called beautiful, sunny San Diego home for the past 15 years. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time in nature, being at the beach, hiking, connecting with animals, practicing meditation, and experiencing sound bath yoga.
A true connector at heart, Laura is guided by a favorite Maya Angelou quote: “People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.” The sentiment reflects how she approaches both business and life—with intention, warmth, and a genuine appreciation for the people she has the privilege of meeting along the way.
